We always wanted to play Classic Battletech, but since time is rare. We wrote a complete conversion rule set for Battletech. Most of the rules were adapted from CAV.

Welcome to Katy's Crushers Dilemma

Katy's Crushers Dilemma was born from the crazy idea that the classic Battletech universe was not dead. Battletech games were always long to play, even with a small number of units on the tabletop. Since we no longer have that much time on our hands we wanted to create / adapt a system that would retain the battletech feel, while allowing for more epic encounters.

Rules

The Katy's Crushers Dilemma ruleset was derived from multiple sources. The most influencial ruleset were the CAV rules from Reaper Games. A nice and and clean system made by Reaper miniatures. We also used some ideas from the Heavy Gear game system and obviously the extensive Battletech game library.

The resulting system is flexible enough that it could be adapted to other types of games, we are currently toying with the idea of modern infantry skirmishes.

Terrain

While writing the rules of the system, converting 'mechs and playtesting everything, We created a simple, cheap and highly modular terrain system. The gallery features shots of our best painted 'mechs and terrain pieces. Our terrain is built from 12"x12" flooring tiles, half sections are available for special terrain called features.
